Our team of Workforce Career Education & Outreach Specialists raise awareness of career possibilities to students in grades 6-12 in five Austin area school districts: Austin, Del Valle, Elgin, Manor, and Pflugerville. Our work is done in partnership with Austin area school districts with funding from Texas Workforce Commission.

Serves Austin ISD and Del Valle ISD schools

I am a strong believer that our youth have the competence to begin their career shortly after completing high school. I am also a strong believer that the major reason for not starting a career after high school is lack of resources. As a Career and Education Outreach Specialist, I am here to provide the necessary resources and assistance to our students, educators, parents, and employers.

I am here to assist you (high and middle school students) with your career and educational choices to help set you up for future success! Being a student myself, I know how overwhelming it can be when thinking about the future and post-graduation goals. But, I’m here to ease any stress or uncertainty you may be feeling. I’m also happy to assist teachers with their classroom curriculum!

Jessica works with the team to cultivate interest and understanding of high-demand, middle skill careers in the Austin Metro Area. She is ambassador to the K-12 education system to help raise awareness of high-demand careers and WFS services to educators, students and families.
